Arosa in summer:
The Arosa holiday region is very varied in summer and winter. For example, you can discover the connecting railway between the Aroser Hörnli and the Lenzerheidner Urdenfüggli, with which guests can comfortably commute back and forth between the two destinations even in summer. The hiking area in Arosa alone has 200 kilometres of varied walking and hiking trails. A recommended hike is the 15 km long 10-lake hike, during which you move from one crystal-clear mountain lake to the next. The Schanfigger high-level trail as a circular hike from Chur to Arosa and back again impresses with original, cosy huts and beautiful cultural landscape in variety with alpine mountain landscape. Various trails are available for mountain bikers in Arosa and Lenzerheide. In Lenzerheide you can also use the bike park and the skill centre, visit the bike school or watch various bike events or take part in them yourself. In summer 2018 the Arosa Bärenland opens its doors, where visitors can watch the bears from a spacious visitor platform and the little ones can romp around on the "Bärenschule" playground.
Arosa in winter:
For skiers and snowboarders, the Arosa Lenzerheide winter sports area offers 225 km of slopes with guaranteed snow. Today, the ski area is the largest connected ski region in Graubünden - thanks to the ski area connection, guests can commute back and forth from Aroser Hörnli and Lenzerheidner Urdenfüggli in just 3 minutes. The modern underground railway can now also be used by pedestrians, and winter hikers have 140 km of prepared walking and hiking trails at their disposal. Two snowparks and a funslope are available for freestylers to jib and round off the varied range of slopes. Snowshoe, (night) sledge, cross-country, curling and ice stick players also get their money's worth in Arosa Lenzerheide.
