Very nice snowshoe tour above the tree line with Panoramic view of the Rätikon chain. The circular route also offers many opportunities to explore the Clun high plateau off the marked route.

Beschreibung
The starting point of the Scheeschuhtour on the Arflinafurgga is at 2000 m above sea level at the Berghaus Arflina. From the very beginning, the panoramic view of the Rätikon accompanies you. After a short crossing of the ski slope, you leave the ski area of the Heuberge and find yourself completely isolated from any hustle and bustle on the plateau. The Arflinafurgga is already in sight after 25 minutes of hiking, the whole ascent takes about 45 minutes. As soon as you reach the top of the pass, the snowshoe hiker has a magnificent view on one side towards Schanfigg and Arosa. The descent leads via another route back towards Berghaus Arflina. The slope is very pleasant to walk and is also very suitable for beginners.

Combine the tour with a fondue fun and a fast-paced toboggan run on the longest toboggan run in Switzerland (12 km).
Sicherheitshinweis
The marked snowshoe tour leads into the unsecured, partly alpine winter terrain. It is up to each tourer to fully equip themselves and inform themselves about the snow and avalanche conditions before the tour.
The time indication is a guideline in good conditions for reasonably experienced tourers. Times for snowshoe tours can vary greatly depending on conditions, equipment and condition. Plan enough time and start early for the planned tour!

Ausrüstung
Well-functioning snowshoes, poles with winter plates, good footwear, winter-proof clothing. The wind can reduce the perceived temperature sensitively in winter: do not forget winter gloves, hat, thermos flask, etc.
It is recommended to carry complete winter touring equipment including avalanche transceivers on the marked snowshoe trail and generally on all tours in open alpine terrain.
