Beschreibung
The Altein lake is located on 2,251m above sea level on an Alpine plateau along the Strela chain south of the Arosa reservoir lake. It lies between the Altein bolt and the Alteiner Fürggli with an amazing view on the Schiesshorn and many other mountains. During the summer season numerous hiking trails pass along the lake: Alteiner Fürggli-Davos Glaris/Wiesen, Valbella Furgga-Sandhubel and Schiesshorn Furgga-Schiesshorn/Maienfelder Furgga.

Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel
Start the hike from the train station towards the Untersee lake. If desired you may also take the local bus to the Untersee lake and start the hike there.
Anfahrt
It is best to park the car at the parking garage Ochsenbühl.
