Alps Epic Trail: Monstein - Wiesen Station

The Alps Epic Trail was awarded the IMBA Epic Trail in 2014. This puts the Jakobshorn-Filisur route in the illustrious circle of the best mountain bike trails in the world.

This is the fourth part of the Alps Epic Trail. From the idyllic Walser village of Monstein, follow the route signs for 338 Zügenschlucht. From Monstein you first drive past the saw in the direction of the former Erzgruben/Silberberg, but first turn left onto a slightly wider path that leads you further uphill. At Teuf Zügji the altitude meters are done and you turn right onto a Singeltrail. From here, caution is advised, as the path drops steeply in places.  

For bikers with a head for heights, the ride is a pleasure. Through the Brunnentöbeli we continue past Löser, through the Chüetobel to shortly before Jenisberg.
