From Seewis, a side valley of the Prättigau leads into the Rätikon to Alp Fasons, at the foot of the Schesaplana, with the AlpMuseum, the listed Valarsäge and the SAC Schesaplana. All three are contemporary witnesses of the end of the 19th century.

The Sennhütte is now a museum and offers interested visitors an insight into the history of alpine farming. For those interested, guided tours are offered, on request in combination with hikes, bike tours and scooter rides.

The Alpstafel Fasons was created in 1877 and has a structure typical of the time. In the center is the stable and next to it the two mountain huts or Sennten*. Of the four Sennten in the municipality of Seewis, with the names Wundrig, Fausch, Wehrli and Junker, two were on this Alpstafel Fasons. The allocation changed annually, according to a fixed cycle.
* Senntum / Sennten

From 1877 to 1985, cheese, butter and Ziger were produced in the alpine huts. Since 1988, one of the alpine huts has been a museum, the other serves as accommodation for the calf herder during the alpine summer. On request show cheeses.
