Alp Valpun

Alp Valpun is run by the Alpgenossenschaft Luzein/Pany with about 160 dairy and suckler cows. In the summer months, in addition to about 7,600kg of alpine cheese, alpine butter and Ziger are also produced. By bus you can reach Pany from Schiers or Küblis, the Alp Valpun can be reached from Pany or St. Antönien (stop Platz). Once you arrive at the village square Pany, follow the trail signs past the pizzeria Don Antonio in the direction of the swimming pool Pany. If you prefer a dip in the cool water, follow the asphalted road and the small detour to the swimming pool, otherwise turn up Sandegga on the hiking trail next to the house and follow in the direction of Tüfelstein / Bova. From Bova then follow the Valpun road, through the forest and around the lookout point "Chrüz" you leave the view into Prättigau behind you and reach from Bova in about 50 minutes walk the Alp Valpun with a magnificent panorama to the north to the Rätikon.
Back to Pany on the same path, or follow the hiking trail through the high moor to St. Antönien, in St. Antönien Platz you will find the nearest bus stop.
