Beschreibung

Over 20 information boards accompany you on the 8 km long nature trail from Giraniga up to the Sassli fireplace. We continue over the 44-metre-long suspension bridge over the Schlettertobel. Crossing the ravine over the suspension bridge, about 16 m above the stream bed, becomes a small test of courage for some! After a short ascent, the unique panoramic view awaits you at the Plàmpoort fireplace (1676 m above sea level) below the Kartitscha. This viewpoint allows you to identify all the peaks of the opposite mountain ranges and offers a breathtaking panorama.

The Plàmpoort fireplace, equipped with drinking water from the well and a toilet building in log construction, invites you to linger and relax. The descent to Miraniga and Meierhof becomes a walk with a view in the most diverse directions of the Surselva. Once with a view as far as Chur and in the other direction as far as Disentis as well as on the opposite side of the valley to the beautiful summit panorama. The nature trail reflects the direct interactions between man, nature and landscape.

Sicherheitshinweis

In uncertain weather conditions, the tour should not be started. Weather changes in the mountains are frequent. If a rain front or similar comes up during the hike, you should turn back in time.
