Transruinaulta Trailmarathon 21.10.24

On Saturday, October 19, 2024, the Transruinaulta Trail Marathon will take place, starting in Ilanz and finishing in Thusis. The section Ilanz – Castrisch – Valendas-Sagogn Bhf – Versam-Safien Bhf to Chrummwag will be closed until about 2.30 p.m. on the day of the event. Reopened from 12 noon from Ilanz.

A circular hike through secluded alluvial forests and nature reserves along the Anterior Rhine. Discover the beginning of the Rhine Gorge from Ilanz.

Beschreibung

A hike through floodplain forests and nature reserves along the Vorderrhein. The starting point is Ilanz. Via Castrisch and station Valendas/Sagogn you reach the pretty Graubünden villages of Sagogn and Schluein.

Sicherheitshinweis

In uncertain weather conditions, the tour should not be started. Weather changes in the mountains are frequent. If a rain front or similar comes up during the hike, you should turn back in time.

From Chur, Ilanz station is easily accessible with an idyllic ride through the Rhine Gorge. The hike can be shortened as desired with the Rhaetian Railway. The exact connections can be found on the SBB website: www.sbb.ch/

Ilanz can be reached from both Chur and Disentis/Mustér via Route 19.

Parken

Directly at the train station in Ilanz there is a large paid parking lot. There is another smaller parking lot at the train station in Castrisch (also for a fee).
