Lohn mit der reformierten Kirche
The church with two towers from two different eras is a listed Protestant-Reformed church.

Beschreibung

There are no records of the construction of St. Anthony's Church. However, a church in Mathon was mentioned as early as 831. The visible church ruins of St. Antonius are located below the village and are dated to the beginning of the 13th century. In 1956, excavations uncovered a semicircular apse. It dates from the late Carolingian period and extends to the choir of the newer building. The discovered fragments from the Romanesque and pre-Romanesque periods were handed over to the Rhaetian Museum. The tower, which was raised in 1528 and contains a late Gothic belfry, has been preserved. In addition, there are still walls of the recently completed choir with barrel vaulting and the late Romanesque nave. Individual paint remnants suggest that the ship was once completely painted.
