Piz Tomül im Safiental

The Piz Tomül is an absolute classic in the farthest Safien Valley. You rarely go alone on fashion tours, but they are all very worthwhile. This is exactly the case for this ski tour.

Beschreibung
The Turrahuus is an ideal place to stay and start from. At the beginning, it goes steeply uphill along the old pass path. The route continues on the broad NE shoulder to the Rotflua. At P.2561, the following SE ridge becomes narrower and narrower and is partly interspersed with rock. Often this is blown off and requires some attention. Especially on the descent, the ridge can be a challenge.
But the reward comes at the summit. The view of the Grisons mountains and far beyond is simply magnificent. The descent is also terrific. As soon as you leave the aforementioned ridge, perfect ski slopes await you that you won't forget in a hurry. If the conditions are safe, you can also descend the steep eastern slopes shortly after the summit.
Geheimtipp
Sicherheitshinweis
Ski and snowshoe tours in unsecured terrain require good knowledge of avalanche danger assessment and tour planning. Furthermore, a complete safety upgrade must always be carried - regardless of the current avalanche danger.
We recommend the WhiteRisk app and website to prepare and plan the tour.
For carefree enjoyment, we recommend our mountain guides and snowshoe hiking guides of the Surselva.
