Beschreibung
The Pass Diesrut is an ancient muleteer road and was for many centuries the only connecting route to the south. Today the pass Diesrut is called the gateway to the Greina. Shortly after the pass you have a first and unique view of the whole Greina plateau. The weather at Pass Diesrut is often rough and windy and it is not uncommon for the crossing to be covered with snowfields in mid-June.
Places of magic
The ascent to Pass Diesrut is not steep, but steadily rising. Diesrut means "broken back" and refers to the halfway interrupted mountain edge from Péz Ner down to Puzzatsch. Bare, grassy debris and rock surfaces characterize the landscape of Pass Diesrut. Local energies are generally high and largely constructive.
