(Possibly) extraordinary parish meeting

The Reformed Church of Chur is in merger negotiations with the parishes of Maladers and Haldenstein.

Before the incorporation of the two parishes can be discussed and voted on in Chur, a parish meeting must be held in each of the parishes of Maladers and Haldenstein with a vote on the planned merger.

Maladers held this parish meeting on September 11 and spoke out in favor of a merger.

At the time of going to press, the parish meeting in Haldenstein has not yet taken place. If, after Maladers, the parish of Haldenstein also gives the green light to the merger, an extraordinary parish meeting will take place in Chur on 21 October for the incorporation of Maladers and Chur.
