Galleria Maurizio

Renato Maurizio has been drawing for a good 50 years, but until now almost no one knew it. Now an exhibition in Maloja brings to light what was previously stored in a drawer: pastel drawings of many mountains and trees, which Maurizio brings home from hikes. Limiting himself to black and white oil crayons, an ink pen and drawing paper.

Renato Maurizio is currently showing about a third of his total of around 500 drawings in his gallery. Since his collection of works is large, he has also cut up a number of mountain drawings and assembled the individual parts into mountain collages.
