The Plaun Casti fireplace is located 940 m above sea level.M 1.5 km east of Waltensburg, 1 km east of the Postbus stop Munt Sogn Gieri, in front of the ruin Jörgenburg. A possible hiking route that leads past the fireplace is from Waltensburg towards Rueun.
