Beschreibung
Behind the Arosa station at Obersee, you board the Weisshorn gondola and get off again at the middle station. There you pick up the all-terrain JST Multidrive wheelchair. An employee of Arosa Bergbahnen will instruct you.
From the middle station, turn right and after a few meters you reach Arosa Bärenland directly. The visitor platform and adventure trail are easily accessible by wheelchair. After observing the bears, return to the Arlenwaldweg. On the way to Prätschalp, the view wanders over the Alpine settlement Medergen, Weissfluhjoch, and the high valleys Sapün and Fondei. The Senntum Prätsch, now reached, covers an area of 250 hectares and is owned by the Chur citizen community. About 100 cows from Chur farmers are pastured here every year. When you arrive at the Rot Tritt viewpoint, it’s worth taking a break. The plateau is particularly appealing because of the magnificent view over Arosa and the majestic mountain panorama. There is also a fire pit. Afterwards, you can take the same way back to the middle station or combine the route with the Eichhörnliweg to return to the village.
